With some of the best school systems in New York state, Broome county can be a wonderful place to live and grow up. However, many families and children can struggle to meet basic needs, and Broome County has a child poverty rate reaching 24%. This means that many talented and deserving youth athletes may not have the means to pursue their dreams and make high-level basketball and travel AAU a feasible reality. 

This is why Ball4Ever seeks to establish a scholarship program, to identify local youth athletes with passion and promise, and provide them with opportunities to learn and compete on the basketball court.  While not a direct solution to poverty, sports can offer a structured environment that fosters positive development and potentially opens doors to future opportunities.  Your Sponsorship will go toward making this program a reality.
